About Us

Enhancing the vitality of economic activities within a four-county region.

Welcome to Wyoming's Big Horn Mountain country! Located in the north-central region of Wyoming, the Big Horns are one of America's most scenic and pristine mountain regions. This web site was created by the Big Horn Mountain Coalition, EDD, an economic development district comprised of Big Horn, Johnson, Sheridan and Washakie Counties. This four-county coalition works to enhance economic activities and provide leadership, coordination and cooperation between local, state and federal entities. We are governed by a board comprised of county commissioners, municipal officials, economic development professionals and private sector representatives.

There is no place in the world like the Big Horn Mountain Country-we invite you to come and experience it yourself.

Big Horn Mountain Country has something for everyone–whether you're an outdoor recreationist, sightseer, traveler or merely wish to kick back and relax. The breath-taking terrain and foliage, pristine air and unspolied mountain beauty of the Big Horns beckon those who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
